First, I want to apologize if my grammar or my english are bad because I can't speak english ver well. But I will try my best, hope u understand.
Jakarta is the capital and largest city in Indonesia. Jakarta also has the greater population than any other city in Southeast Asia. Jakarta is the country's economics, cultural, and political central in Indonesia. So, it's so good to visit a big metropolitan city with a unique culture.
In Jakarta, we use Indonesian language as a first language. But, because of globalisation the people in Jakarta also can speak english even it is not really good. You don't need to worry about the airport. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is an international standard airport who just need about 15 minutes to Jakarta from there (in Cengkareng).
Enough with the information, now I will tell you about the tourism area in Jakarta which good for you to visit. There is a LOT of museum in Jakarta because it is the capital city. Some museum are good to see but some others are boring I guess. Here some museums which interesting to visit:
National Museum of Indonesia (in Indonesian : Museum Nasional, Museum Gajah)
The museum located in Medan Merdeka Barat Street, Jakarta pusat. It has many collection of ancient things all over Indonesia.
Lubang Buaya
Actually, Lubang Buaya is not the name of the museum, but in Lubang buaya area there is a diorama museum about G30SPKI, a big scary event in Indonesia. There is also a monument in that area.

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah
This park is a VERY BIG area in Jakarta which has:
-> Museums (Indonesia Museum, Pusaka Museum, Transportasi, IPTEK)
-> Theater (Keong Mas, Tanah Airku)
-> Garden
-> Traditional House
Ancol Jakarta Baycity
What dou you want to do in Ancol? Every activities you want to, Ancol will granting it. Wanna play with water? There is
